For me, acting is about preparation, listening, embodying a character to bring the larger story to life. Improv comedy was my first love, followed by sketch, theatre, standup, and TV/Film. I’ve worked extensively in commercials and voiceover. I also produced, wrote, directed and starred in My BFF, an award-winning short comedy film.
My stage work started small: a bumble bee, an icicle, then a munchkin. Later, I went on to play lead roles in acclaimed Off-Off Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. My favorite role was Rosalind in As You Like It in Washington Square Park. TV credits include Law and Order SVU, and Malcolm Lee’s Morningside Prep on Showtime. My BFF received audience favorite at New Filmmakers Festival in NYC and is rated 95% funny on the Funny or Die website. Here’s my Acting Resume and Imdb link.
